Just saw your post, and a few of us in St Petersburg/Clearwater area here in Florida, would like to gather locally, and promote these amazing dogs. At this time, we all own Podencos, and have a kinship for the beloved breed and those associated with them. Just want to know if we can use some of your web site as references to assist in promoting information and support. Thank,you!
Thank you for writing, Marcia. I’d be really pleased if you would promote Podenco Post…I’ve been fighting the corner and publicising about the podencos since I first went to Spain 10 years ago. The more people who know about them, the better for speaking out to help these wonderful hounds which the hunters abuse to badly. Have you a copy of my definitive guide to the plight of the podenco – From Pyramis to Perrera. I still have some print copies available. Order through my blog. and if you do organise any gatherings, please let me know and send pix as I’d love to put them on my blog.
