This poor bitch is one of three podencos abandoned close to the River (murcia). A boy who saw them and took the pictures said they look young, are skin and bones. Another man in the area is trying to shoot them. Please contact any of these people to find the exact area if you can help. With the heat, and without food and water in the middle of the campo, they will not last long.

This is a plea from Scooby Medina looking for foster and forever homes for these beautiful podencos. Here’s what Eva says. ‘The Refugio Abyda shelter in Jaen needs help. Scooby and I have been able to rescue 6-8 dogs in the last few months, but we are packed at the shelter, so I can’t take any more dogs into our shelter unless they already have a place to go.
