One woman, Nina Torres, reckons it’s fine for most adult dogs to be in a crate “nine hours maximum” during the day (with a walk in the middle), and then eight hours at night.
I cannot believe anyone would condone incarcerating a dog for most of the 24 hours of its life!! I’m with PETA!

A new strain of tick-borne disease
Ticks can carry quite a few pathogens that can cause disease in dogs and humans. Some of these pathogens are viruses, some are bacteria, and some are protozoa (single-celled animals). Rikettsia are very small bacteria species that grow inside the living cells of their hosts. Different strains of Rikettsia are responsible for diseases such as Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever and various strains of typhus.

‘At the beginning of this year, Scooby saved the lives of many, many galgos and podencos from Andalucia, Murcia and Extremadura. We had thought that most of them would be adopted by now but that is alas not the case. So please, if you think about adopting a dog, consider to give one of our boys or girls a chance and on top of giving them a so much earned home, you can lower our costs because with all prices skyhigh, we really struggle to make ends meet.

This dynamic duo is Tom & Jerry, who happen to be 10 years old & also happen to be brothers! This pair of cuties were adopted out in Spain & unfortunately were returned to the group, thru no fault of their own. They’re great in a home & walk beautifully on leash! We decided that they had a much better chance of being adopted here in the US so we’re happy to welcome them later this month! We could only do this with an amazing foster family that stepped to the plate to offer to take both of them.Unfortunately while they do fine with dogs of all sizes, they’re not good with cats & young kids.
