URGENT – PLEASE READ, WE NEED YOUR HELP..
Lima is a beautiful Podenca who was first rescued by Friends of Aprop, the same rescue Pepe came from. Sadly, this stunning, timid, gentle soul has been rejected three times through no fault of her own. She was initially adopted and returned after five months because she “wasn’t improving.” Since then, she has been in two foster homes, but circumstances now mean she can no longer stay.

Lima has been given just ONE WEEK to leave. If no foster home is found, she will have to return to the shelter. Time is desperately short.

We are urgently looking for a foster home within a couple of hours’ drive of the shelter in Pego, Valencia. Shona, one of the volunteers who knows Lima well, says that despite being shy, Lima is extremely well behaved in the home, good with other dogs and cats, walk nicely on the lead, can be left with the other dogs.

What Lima needs is someone kind and patient who can help build her confidence around From personal experience, dogs who have already lived in a home find it incredibly hard to return to a shelter — especially nervous dogs like Lima. It would be a huge setback for her.
