SOS Cuenca dog pound – Young Podencos waiting forever…
SOS Cuenca have hundreds of dogs in the pound, each hoping they will catch the eye of someone who will take them into their heart and home. Here are some of the beautiful podencos which have been waiting for months…including 4 at the end which are podenco x. Most of them are babies, between 1-2 years old. They all get on well with other dogs, are affectionate, not been tested with cats, Aron, the chocolate one, needs to get out urgently because the other dogs won’t let him to the food and he is losing weight. Starved podenco Abel – needs help and a home
Abel is young male Podenco about 10 months old, you can see he has not had the best start in life. He is very underweight, weak and will need some time for him to build up his strength. He is negative for Leishmania, filaria and elerichia and we hope he doesn’t have any long term health problems because of his neglect.
