Podencas on CESE fast track to kill – Valencia perrera

I know many of you will not want to watch these two videos of podencos in a Valencia kill station but for those of you who wonder what it is like, here are two links. Volunteers are trying to save the two dogs. They are on CESE which means the bloody hunters have handed them in on fast track to kill! Video 2 is of a 6 year old podenco who, as you can see, is really traumatised. A foster home needs finding for her urgently where she can be rehabilitated with patience and understanding, ready for adoption. Contact Angie urgently if you can help Flecha especially

Valencia podenco puppy urgently needs foster home

This 3 month old podenco puppy was found abandoned a couple of weeks ago and has been in foster. She has been named Nana. Sadly she can’t stay with the fosterers and so an appeal is out for another foster home, or she will have to go into a shelter. She is quiet, happy, likes other dogs, ok with cats, wants to play in between sleeping! She really needs to be in a home where she can be trained, rather than a kennels.

Podenca Pati with Galgo Connection Spain, Valencia – donate to vet fees

Pati is a young podenca bitch rescued by Galgo Connection Spain with a very badly injured front leg. She was rushed to the vet who operated on it to save it. Silvia of GCS is appealing for donations to help pay the vet fee. Donate via the above link.
