Axarquia Animal Rescue would like to introduce you to this little puppy MIKE (AAR1528) DOB 17.05.2016
Hello…I was dumped by the bins at Puente without my mum when I was 3 weeks old. I was really scared but pretended to be brave as my siblings were frightened too. I did not know why the people took us away, we were too little to have been naughty. I was sure my mum would come and find us, but she didn’t. I hope she’s ok.
After lots of asking, a kind lady called Sue offered to look after us until we were old enough to leave.
Well, now I am nearly big enough and I need a home with a comfy bed as my foster mummy Sue says I sleep a lot. I am a happy boy and love playing but I’m a bit quieter than my brother Pete. As you can see, I love smiling for the camera and I can help you in the garden. I get on with the dogs here so wouldn’t mind if I had a new brother or sister. I have so much love in my little heart, all I need now is a family of my own to give it to.
Contact axarquia-rescue@hotmail.com Please share my little post with your friends as they could know someone who might love me. Thank you, Mike xxx
And here’s another podenco pup, found abandoned in a swamp! carmina says ‘Donut is a little puppy Podenco (6-8 months old) rescued wandering around a swamp in Seville. His condition was critical, he was emaciated, malnourished. Right now is recovering in a kennel, But his godmother can not afford to pay the kennel fees much longer. It is very necessary to find accommodation or adoption for him.’
Please, contact with Carmina Álvarez (she speaks/writes English) carminalvarezrea@gmail.com.
And another in Seville – a 4 months old podenco puppy left in the street, wandering lost. I won’t print the rest of the message from Macu, because she’s really let rip at the people who do this – leave a little puppy to fend for itself on the street.
Macu is asking for an association to come forward urgently and take the little podenco so that he can be fostered and adopted and spend the rest of his life loved.

Galgos del Sol in Murcia have just taken in this cute little podenca puppy, about 4/5 months old. Just look at those fabulous ears! She’s been named Lucia, a beautiful name for a beautiful baby. She will be microchipped, vaccinated and blood tested and is looking for a forever home. If you would like to adopt her, contact Galgos del Sol direct.
This is what she carried on her back.
This podenco puppy was found yesterday by a young woman out walking; she heard some barking and discovered him, very skinny and covered in ticks. She took him some food, but has no room to take him in. Please can anyone take him, before the hunters do….The site is not a place for him…Please can someone do a host, he’s all alone …
