This poor podenco ended up in this state in the Jerez perrera, Cadiz. Luckily he was rescued by volunteer Gloria Duque and is now in the care of Pod & Co, Belgium and on the way to recovery. He was known as Esperanza but they have called him Vida. Their supporters were so generous with donations to save him that they saved two young galgas as well.
