Cotton is the white one, Lupita is the white/brown. Two stunning podencos with their whole life before them – surely? Have to say I don’t know how people can work in perreras killing such beautiful dogs.

La Rioja – more than just winery tours – Animales Rioja
Clint is a beautiful rough haired Podenco Ibicenco who was rescued from the Rioja perrera. He has a problem with his sight, probably because in his past life he has been kept in the dark.
Little Podenca Andaluz Rubia (see below) has also been rescued from the perrera; she is very thin and malnourished. She now seeks a warm house where she can recover and be beautiful!
These two podencos are with Animales Rioja, along with Cloe, another podenca. If you can help with vet fees etc, or adopt either of these deserving souls, write to animalesrioja@gmail.com
