More concerns for Spanish rescues homing hounds in the UK

‘Changes to the entry of rescue dogs to the UK basically if the UK exit the EU with a deal or no deal the Euro tunnel will no longer be a designated Border Inspection Point for Dogs, Cats or Ferrets.. Some months ago the ferry companies stopped accepting transports with rescue dogs on and the only point of entry was the Tunnel. If this is correct the only means of transport will be by plane to the UK very few airlines fly dogs to the UK and the last one we flew over cost 600 pounds plus the cost of the crate paid by the adopter so will be beyond the affordability of most people .. I can not confirm if this is accurate information but
I am aware many agencies have been lobbying to stop the import of foreign rescues due to animals arriving sick and with incorrect paper work. If anyone has any information regarding these changes please let us kno. This is a statement copied from a post by the group below

Change of law for animals in Andalucia from May 2019
Just been advised of this by Ann Marie Payne of Ann’s Canine Care. Email her on this link if you want a copy of the form in pdf.CHANGE OF LAW. PLEASE READ
From 13th May 2019 the procedure to change ownership of a dog that is registered on raia ( Andalusia) has changed. Also if you want to register a dog on raia from another database.
Now you must obtain one of these forms and have the previous owner fill it out and then have your vet present it to raia, along with proof of identity of the owner. Your local vet will have access to one of these forms.
Also if you rescue a dog from the street without a chip you must register it at the local town hall. This will not effect your right to keep the dog.
These are new laws so please, don’t expect Ann to be able to answer any questions. The best person to ask is your local vet.

The Blue Cross Charity want the law changed for stray section 1 dogs. They contacted David Rutley MP, ministerwith responsibility for animal welface and invited the minister to meet with us to discuss how the law could change to make it legal for Blue Cross and other rescue charities to find loving new homes for stray section 1 dogs. We are also continuing to meet with MPs and Lords from all parties to ask them to back our campaign in both houses of parliament.
