Breaking News – animal shelter being closed down in Antas, Almeria

Some of you may be aware of a developing situation at another animal shelter within our region.
Paws-Patas have been asked by both the Ayuntamiento de Antas and a District Judge to urgently take in over 100 animals into our care.
We are therefore, in conjunction with the authorities and our trusted partners, undertaking an emergency operation to co-ordinate the safe transition of these animals into our care.
This is a difficult and challenging situation for all concerned and our absolute priority, as always, is for the welfare of the animals.

Thounsands of them thrown out in the campo, in perreras, on the street to get injured – because the bloody galgueros won’t keep a dog if it’s not hunting or breeding more galgos!

He’s a 11-month-old podenco, very friendly, playful, and affectionate.
